Project Description

This project is for the development of a three-story, newly developed community center, which will provide appropriate physical space to expand MRNY’s programs, reduce operational and administrative cost, and ensure these critical services remain in the neighborhood for years to come. GRANT was contracted by the Client to provide a geotechnical subsurface field investigation, with a full-time field engineer observing and logging methods of drilling and sampling, obtaining soil samples, and classifying the soil visually. The property is within the influence zone of the 7-line overhead MTA infrastructure, and thus required NYCT submittal. GRANT was then contracted to provide SOE design services and construction administration services as the project breaks ground.
