As Principal-In-Charge at Grant Engineering, Stephen provides the insight and strategic guidance clients need to make sure their projects are executed successfully, while managing and developing Project Managers and engineering staff. Stephen has provided his technical and executive experience on engineering contracts in New York City and abroad. Much of Stephen’s current work is in support of New York City based private developers and property owners and includes design engineering, cost and schedule planning, and construction inspection services. He has served numerous municipal clients, including NYCDDC, NYCSCA, NYCEDC, NYCHA, and the NYS Air National Guard. He has also managed design work abroad for the European Union and the US State Department in Haiti and the US Army Corp of Engineers in Honduras.
Stephen founded Grant in 2006. He holds an MS degree in Civil Engineering from Columbia University and a BS degree in Civil Engineering from Merrimack College. Stephen is licensed in New York, Connecticut, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, and Florida.
With over 16 years investment banking industry experience, Rob is managing Finance and Operations. Rob has a BA in Finance from CUNY’s Baruch College.
Eugen Cela has over 16 years of experience in construction and geotechnical engineering for a wide array of projects from private sector to government agencies. Geotechnical experience includes site investigation, soil and rock testing, ground improvement, forensic engineering, support of excavation design, foundation design, field monitoring. Analysis and design experience includes a broad spectrum of soil/structure interactions and earthwork like tunnel portals, tunnel shafts, retaining walls, deep and shallow foundations, ground improvement, embankments, pavement design and seismic analysis.
Matt Sisul, PE has 10 years’ experience on civil and structural engineering projects in the United States and internationally. Since joining GRANT in 2015, he provides project management, structural engineering design, structural assessments and inspections. Projects for GRANT are new construction and renovations for both commercial and residential properties. He designs in concrete, steel, masonry, wood, and cold form steel. Prior to GRANT, he worked for 4 years on reconstruction projects in Haiti, initially, as lead structural engineer and construction project manager within a Port au Prince based construction firm and later as principal of Sisul Consulting LLC providing structural design and project management consultation from Brooklyn, NY. Matt is also an adjunct professor of civil engineering, having taught classes at CUNY New York City College of Technology and Columbia University.
Matt holds an MA degree in Individualized Study –International Development: Infrastructure Service Delivery from New York University and a BS degree in Civil Engineering from Columbia University. Matt is licensed in New York and California.
Oscar Enrique Padrón has 20+ years of experience successfully managing international civil and electromechanical projects for buildings, water plants, and public infrastructure. Additionally, Mr. Padrón brings his experience with inspections for concrete building construction and infrastructure. Master of Science in Engineering, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor
Pragya has over 11 years of combined experience in business operations, project accounting, vendor, and client and team management. She has a bachelor’s degree in accounting/business from University of Delhi, India and a Certificate in Management from Indian Institute of Management, India. Pragya is the operational ‘glue’ and ‘grease’ that keeps GRANT together and smooth running.
